Struggling for Coherence: A Review of Recent Developments in European Trade Mark Law

It is now nearly ten years since the Community Trade Marks Office opened its doors. Since that time, both the courts of EU Member States and the European Court of Justice have tried to fashion a coherent and modern trade mark system, with varying degrees of success.
